Odin Benjamin(2007)
This album is based around the birth of my first-born son, Odin Benjamin Knowles. Odin was born on February 17th, 2007 and I saw it fitting to document his few days with us and turn it into my album for the RPM challenge. This album is a little on the somber side due to the fact that this is my wife's and my first child and we have been frustrated with many of the things having a newborn infant entails. The first part of the album documents a few of our experiences with him; the second part of the album contains tracks of me soothing Odin with various simple songs on my three-string guitar interspersed with tracks of sounds from my job at the airport. Overall the album was successful for capturing a glimpse of what February, 2007 consisted of for me.
